H2ERǴ

Karoline Healy is a Jewellery Designer/Maker and Materials Researcher based in London, England. Healy started her jewellery brand H₂ERǴ in 2018, it is a representation of her work’s core values: innovation and sustainability. The ambition for H₂ERǴ is to become a research-based jewellery studio investigating the ecological, geological and biological drivers that shape jewellery and materiality today and into the future.

Through her work Healy aims to examine and showcase a deeper understanding of the source of precious materials and the processes used to make jewellery, using a creative and relevant context to do this. By proposing ecologically transformative interventions through research and jewellery, she envisions future scenarios where biology can be used to provide a new source of precious metals through bioremediation and biomining.
