Like lost treasures retrieved from the sea, Geraldine’s designs recall long-lost medieval fantasies. She illuminates these narratives through enigmatic phrases and titles from old novels and names of marine creatures, cast in a gothic script inspired by organic shapes and natural textures. These part-relic and part-ornament designs aspire to a new interpretation and permanence for these tales. Evoking liveliness in movement in some pieces yet preserving stillness in others, Geraldine brings frozen time back to life.
